What We Need

The Mustard Seed of Central Indiana is a social service/humanitarian aid agency that depends on the community to donate essential furniture and housewares so we can serve those fighting poverty.  Rehoming your furniture and essential wares helps restore others’ hope and stability in housing and is good for the planet!

  • A Place to Sleep

Mattresses – Box Springs  - Bedding
Twin, Full, or Queen Only  - no toppers, pillows, or mattress covers unless new.

  • A Place to Sit

Sofas – Love Seats – Arm Chairs – Recliners – Ottomans
  • A Place to Eat
Kitchen and Dining Room Tables and Chairs
  • A Places to Store 
Chest of Drawers – Dressers - Night Stands- Coffee tables - End tables, etc.
MISCELLANEOUS
Laundry/Cleaning Supplies - housewares such as towels, bedding, sheets, dish sets, kitchenware, etc.   Feel free to email if you have any questions! Everything should be clean and boxed for pickup.   Alternatively, dropping these items off is helpful!  All items are left to driver discretion based on space.  Items may also be dropped off at our office during business hours - currently Fridays 11-4 pm or by request, email us at info@mustardseedindy.org.  Items can be left at our warehouse, back door, provided they are in clean, working condition. 
WE DO NOT ACCEPT: 
*Up to driver discretion pending size, manpower, and tools needed. Items should be disassembled if at all possible, if not an additional donation may be requested.   Tube TVS  (flat screens must be working), Electronics,  Oversized Entertainment Centers (additional fee), Sleeper Sofas (additional fee), Oversized Armoires (additional fee), King Mattresses,   and medical equipment/beds, and no stained or damaged items.  We may be able to "haul-away" such items but please inquire at time of booking.  Additional donation may be requested pending item.  Drivers have a "menu" of donation fees based on circumstances (stains, damages, excessive weight)  **A receipt will be provided for every transaction.
